2022-2024

Starting the Multi-Generational Health Equity Movement

  • NUTRITION EDUCTION

    Est. 2022

We offer free online health information, including our Multi-Generational Health Course. More than 97% of the food and ingredient recommendations in The Multi-Generational Health Course can be purchased with SNAP/ EBT using the Mom’s Good Taste® Instacart Lists.

We will continue to work with our County and State partners to design and disseminate digital resources and offer Providers, Community Centers, Institutions, and other organizations printable downloads for their patients/clients/members.

  • COMMUNITY EVENTS

    Est. 2023

We offer experiential wellness events to connect communities to multi-generational health in a fun and meaningful way! Our events help us raise awareness for multi-generational health and create innovative volunteer opportunities across the United States.

Our upcoming events will help us raise funds for our perinatal and children’s health equity incentive programs, designed to close gaps in care and advance multi-generational health in underserved communities.

  • SUPPORTING FOOD-IS-MEDICINE

    Est. 2024

We support Food-Is-Medicine (FIM) Programs in underserved communities that have a Multi-Generational Health impact. Programs we consider include Produce Prescriptions, Food Pharmacies, and other Community-Level Healthy Food Programs that aim to improve access to heathy foods and better health outcomes.

In the future, we will create volunteering opportunities to support multi-generational health equity and the ongoing FIM initiatives of our community partners.

Nourishment is Multi-Generational Health Equity.

Since 2022, we have shared evidence-based health & nutrition information, convened perinatal stakeholders, hosted experiential wellness events, and advocated for maternal health equity across the United States.

The Mom’s Good Taste® Multi-Generational Health Course is hosted through our website and is available at no cost. It includes evidence-based preconception, pregnancy, postpartum, and breastfeeding nourishment, foods to include and those to limit and avoid, and food and nutrition tips for common side-effects including (but not limited to) heartburn and hemorrhoids.

More than 97% of the food and ingredient recommendations in The Multi-Generational Health Course can be purchased with SNAP/ EBT using the Mom’s Good Taste® Instacart Lists.

On a Mission to Nourish Generations

  • “The nutritional status of women is critical for the health of future generations and in reducing the burden of disease. Ensuring the optimal health of women before conception, during pregnancy, and during the postpartum period establishes the cycle of health for the next generation.”

-The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG)

  • "Through every phase of the life cycle, a mother's nutrition can improve the health of her child. Maternal nutrition increases survival rates, fosters proper growth and development, and now (we know) that it can impact the child's health into adulthood."

-Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health

  • "Eating well is one of the best things you can do during pregnancy."
